What I Did on my Summer Vacation

So incase you're all wondering if I fell off the planet or something, I thougth I'd just give a quick update as to where I've been. I've been right here, but soaking up the sights of St. Petersburg and surrounding areas with friends and family. Yes, we had a revolving-door policy over the summer with many people coming and going. All we asked in return was a box of desireables from the States, be it Oreos, Grape Nuts, Kashi granola bars, Annie's Shells 'n' Cheese, or Little Debbies. Mmm. Little Debbies.

Anyway, so where have we been and what have we seen? Among other things, the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, Church on the Spilled Blood, St. Isaac's, Kazan Cathedral, Catherine's Palace, Pavlovsk Palace, Yusupov Palace, Peter and Paul Fortress, Piskarevskoe Cemetary, the Siege Memorial, the Cruiser Aurora, Orenienbaum, Peterhof, The Mariinsky, the Alexandrinsky, the Rimsky-Korsakov Theatre, Alexander Nevsky Monastery, Decembrist's Square, Palace Square, Artist's Square and Nevsky Prospect... and that's all I can think of at the moment. When I recover and have had time to sort through the pics, descriptions and images will be posted!

In the meantime, I'd just like to thank:

Laura and Tom,

Cameron,

Mike and Mitsue,

Laurie,

and Mom & Dad

for contributing to the bestest summer ever. :)

PS- almost forgot... we also had a couple weeks of dog sitting in there too... thanks as well to Pele!
